Eggs are 1.89 at most of our local CVS stores. Buy a travel size pack of q-tips for 50 cents (located in the trial/travel size area) and use this $2 off (any CVS brand skincare purchase) coupon on them. Use the $1.50 overage on the eggs to make them 39 cents! (As long as your CVS will allow overage on the coupon; I haven’t had a problem yet.) Of course, with this coupon, the usage of overage has endless possibilities, but thought I’d highlight this one. There’s a lot you can get for free this way, too. (I’ve actually been able to get some 8 quart bags of potting mix that was clearanced to $1.49 for free this way!).

Seeing as Hana Kate recently turned 8 weeks, I figured it was high time to take her to CVS. And seeing as some super CVS coupons expired at the end of March, ’twas the perfect time on March 31! In fact, in an effort to put our extra bucks to better use, we went to two stores! At CVS #1, Hana Kate peacefully slept, making only a peep. At CVS #2, she awoke to the colorful lights and displays and even held my coupon for me! She also made several peeps. . Cost of going to CVS and getting all this stuff? Priceless. (Plus Extra Care Bucks.) Spending time with my little girl? Priceless. (Plus kind comments from cashiers.) I hadn’t been able to get many of the monthly deals for March, and was glad to find a few remaining. And sad to see that CVS #2 had very few items left, so my deals didn’t work out quite like I planned. Oh well! Since this trip was with Hana Kate, I of course picked up a few things for her…including some swim diapers for our family vacation this summer! (Yay! All 13 of us are going on a trip together!!) . Go here to see this week’s deals. . Dedicated to my sister Kelly, who joined my last trip to CVS, where we left the store making cash when the ECB’s wouldn’t print. Ah, memories! 🙂 . Also, there are some $2/10 coupons near the pharmacy that don’t expire until May 16. They have a purple cover, so be on the look out for these! .
