I know, it’s not June 1, anymore. But that’s when I started this post and saved the picture files… These start just before Justus’s birth and then morph into “Justus in Instagram.” Funny how a being in love with a new baby does that. π 1. One of many random household projects that occupied Daniel’s pre-baby time. Replacing the faucet. On his lunch break. 2. Summer haircut for Hana Kate. 3. Hana Kate brushing Eden’s hair. 4. Came across this bit of “I need marriage advice” and had to LOL. π Hopefully in the weeks it took to submit the question and wait for it to be published, the “what do I do?” got resolved on it’s own? 5. This one also made me laugh. Note that Katie is 10. 6. Peaceful moments. 7. the girls enjoying dressing up their little mice. 8. We were still wondering which one of these little outfits our new one would get to wear. The pink one has since been returned to Costco. πΒ

1.silly faces of Eden 2. chilling on a Sunday afternoon, just reading Time Magazine. 3. Spray bottles: adding 2 more hours of outdoor play. 4. Hana Kate frying the onions. She thinks onions are fascinating and wants them to make her cry. Thankfully, they haven’t. π 5. cool clouds. 6. painters. 7. more dirt therapy 8. an Instagram picture about an Instragram article. 1. sadness. Pool, y u no open! (Repairs) 2. the girls wanted to read from a different Bible than usual. 3. Eden playing with light and Magna-Tiles, one of our most frequently played with toys around here. 4. A pretend meal. I was told that the sticks are actually chopsticks. π 5. Catwomen. Actually, I think Eden’s was a bear. 6. cutting projects. 7. I stopped at the new QT that came to Greenville. Probably not a good idea for a health-splurge, but it’s a pretty nice gas station. 8. Hana Kate told me that the double-pom stack was actually the bear’s sunglasses. π 1. Daily thankful to be married to such a wonderful man, who loves our children and his wife soo much. Hana Kate drew her appreciative picture of Daddy. And the shirt? It says “Be Nice to Your Kids.” He designed it and then special-ordered. π 2. watching a lightning storm. 3. getting ready for baby! 4. more cutting. 5. hard at play. 6. “We can both fit on da thair!” 7. Chicken hearts. 8. 2 weekends ago… fundraising for more nesting. π Thanks to our friends, the Sands, for helping. Actually, that was pretty much my final day of being physically able to keep nesting. π 1. sleeping beauty. 2. Harry Potter? 3. “Hey Mommy! Eden fell asleep on the chair!” Indeed, she did. 4. Hana Kate started drawing “suns” for every person she could think of. She asked me their favorite colors and then she drew a sun specifically for them (though they have yet to be delivered). 5. Eden making breakfast. 6. the source of the snoring noise I heard one night. 7. Cold and rainy? We can still play outside! π 8. Best granola. Ever. Made by Daniel and the girls. Recipe here. Seriously, this is the best I’ve had. 1. the living room at night…phase three. painted and just waiting for a few more final touches. 2. final final dr.’s appt for this baby. SC midwife clients are required…

1. Hana Kate last Sunday. This is a new pose she likes to do with her hands when I say “say cheese!” 2. Having Bible time while Eden was in bed, not feeling well from her “boo-boo.” 3. Couldn’t even brush her own teeth. 4. The girls reading an animal book with Daniel. 5. Hana Kate asked Daddy to draw with her. π 6. Special moment. 7. Eden skinned both knees, and they were hurting quite badly (also why she isn’t moving much in the other above pictures). She couldn’t walk for about 24 hours, fell asleep randomly twice, and then was all back to normal, except for the very big “boo boo.” 8. Eden making pancakes with Daniel last Saturday. He usually makes pancakes with the girls on Saturdays. π I missed this breakfast to meet up with my friend at Panera, which I must say was quite good, as well. 1. Welcome to April weather. 2. Eden at the playground, telling us about her skinned knees. 3. Hana Kate’s drawings of some animals (a cat, a bunny, a lamb, a bear, and a squirrel). 4. I drew a “Hello Kitty” and she copied her own version (on the right, hopefully obviously ;)) 5. This bird watched us eat lunch. We are loving seeing all the birds. 6. Some girls like anything with ranch dressing. Including grapes. π Cracks me up, because I didn’t like any dressings or dips until I was into the double-digit ages. 7. Hana Kate’s special drawing of “dad” for Daniel. It was quiet for a long time in the play room, and she emerged with this. π 8. Beautiful rainbow last Sunday evening. 1. the dirt box. 2. Working on redecorating and making a space for my “office.” I even made a super-fast trip to Ikea. 3. “Fip fops,” as Eden calls them. She loves her flip flops, which is also funny to me, because we didn’t have them growing up. 4. Working on making some cookies to take to our next-door neighbor. 5. Daniel helping me with my nesting urges. 6. dot art. 7. π 8. This was from the Sunday that Eden still had her “big, bad boo-boo.” She still couldn’t walk, and asked to watch her “Jesus Loves Me” movie, and fell asleep during it. Which is amazing, because she doesn’t even fall asleep during rest time anymore. She took 2…
